YumEarth {Healthy Halloween Haul #3}

YumEarth is one of my favorite healthy candy companies. I’ve worked with them several times in the past, and they never disappoint. I love working with them 😊

I knew if I was doing a Halloween Haul, YumEarth *had* to be apart of it!

YumEarth are truly pioneers in their field, and were one of the first to on the market.

They sent me some of their scrumptious fruit snacks, fabulous lollipops, and, a brand new treat to me, sour beans.

•Before I go onto the sour beans, I’d like to share a fun little story: In a public speaking course at my university, I performed a demonstrative speech about blogging. I used YumEarth’s lollipops as my visual aid, and passed them out while I was speaking. They were a *huge* hit. Everyone loved them, and truly couldn’t believe they were all natural.•

“Beans with Attitude”. Ahhh, that never fails to crack me up. The marketing for these beans is pure genius. You guys know I am a sucker for adorable packaging and anthropomorphic food 💖

These beans are vegan, which most jelly candies aren’t. They are peanut/tree nut free, gluten free, and contain no artificial flavors or dyes.

{These beans do have, “natural sugar,” which I’m definitely not an advocate of, but for people who aren’t whacked out sugar addicts like me, you’ll be totally fine}

The texture of these sour beans is identical to that of a traditional jelly bean: crisp, crunchy shell, and a chewy interior.

The sourness level on these beans is very kid friendly, which I appreciate. You get a sour punch, but it doesn’t lock your jaw. For me, the balance of sweet and sour is perfect. My younger brother thought these beans were great, too!

Sour Beans, and any YumEarth product, would be a fun, healthy, and kid friendly addition to any Halloween festivities.
