Soy Yo or Soy No ?

Soy yogurt might seem a little too hipster for some, but it’s a godsend for those with milk or lactose sensitivities, vegans, and the like.
The lovely people at Nancy’s Cultured Dairy and Soy sent me several flavors of their cultured soy yogurt to test out and review for you all…oh and this adorable shirt!!!!!
Let’s get down to the important stuff…the taste.
I received cultured soy yogurt in these tantalizing flavors: blackberry, strawberry, blueberry, raspberry, and vanilla.
Nancy’s is completely organic!!!! Hurray 😌 All fruit flavors were sweetened with white grape juice, and the vanilla with maple syrup. No added sugar, colors, flavors, fillers, or preservatives.
When you first open the container of cultured soy you will notice something a little odd….it’s grey. It doesn’t look like conventional dairy yogurt. Some might find the color offputting…but do not let this detour you.
The texture is great…no different than Yoplait or Dannon.
The taste is definitely different from conventional yogurt…but that’s to be expected. This stuff is tart, with a delicate sweetness from the real fruit, and it’s creamy! That’s all you really need, right? It’s not yogurt, but it’s an excellent substitute.
My baby niece absolutely LOVED this yogurt. Her favorite flavor was strawberry. My favorite was blackberry. They go wonderfully in smoothies…giving them that creamy texture we all desire.
