I LOVE chocolate. There are no two ways about it. This week you have probably become even more aware of that fact, as I just posted a review of Pascha Organic Chocolate yesterday and I have an AlterEco review coming up soon. Today, though, we are talking about Pure7 Chocolate.
What’s special about Pure7 is that it’s sweetened with raw honey, the world’s healthiest sweetener! Raw honey is one of my favorite things in life. Chocolate is one of my favorite things in my life. Do you see where I’m going with this? Pure7 is completely free of dairy, wheat, and gluten and complies with the paleo AND gaps diet.
I connected with Carrie Raho at Pure7 and she sent me two full size dark chocolate bars and several chocolate coins. I’m pretty sure I started drooling when I opened the box and saw all of THIS
Isn’t the packaging simply WONDERFUL?! And let me assure you, the contents were just as wonderful.
Pure7 Chocolate is quite dark. Two people that I had try it thought it was too dark and did not enjoy it. They didn’t think it was sweet enough. I, on the other hand, enjoy a robust dark chocolate, and found the sweetness level to be quite appropriate. The chocolate isn’t as snappy as a typical bar, but it’s smooth as butter and quite rich.
If you remember our chocolate undertone conversation from my last review, you’ll understand what I mean when I say that Pure7 possesses coffee undertones.
I had the pleasure of trying Orange Golden Berry and Salted Almond. While I thoroughly enjoyed both, orange golden berry took the cake, in my opinion. Salted almond is a classic candy combination: course salt, rich chocolate, and crunchy almonds. What’s not to love? But orange golden berry, dear orange golden berry, you have stolen my heart. Vibrant citrus…sweet & plump golden berries…creamy chocolate. Mmmmm, SO GOOD!
Pure7 was definitely a hit for me, and I will definitely repurchase in the future. There are still flavors I am eager to try, like Coconut & Cherry…MMMM!
I hope you are enjoying this review series! Have you tried Pure7? You should! Head over to their website and pick some up https://www.pure7chocolate.com/120113_pure7chocolate_choc.html
