Botanical ME {Review}

“Botanical ME is a collection of vibrant aromatherapy products inspired by the unique healing plants of Africa.”

Botanical ME is a San Diego based company (Cali represent! what what!) run by sisters Jill & Carly. The company is a platform to raise awareness for the charity “Malaria No More.” The ME in Botanical ME stands for Malaria Eradication. When you buy Botanical ME products, you, in your own small way, are helping stomp out a disease that kills a child in Africa every sixty seconds. That’s a pretty amazing concept!

Do you know what else are pretty amazing? THESE:

Namaste Yoga Mat Spray, Madagascar Mint Lip Balm, & Apricot Argan Oil.

Namaste Yoga Mat Spray:

Is an aroma therapy spray made with therapeutic grade essential oils including frankincense, cape lavender, and tea tree. Based on the list of essential oils, I was worried I wouldn’t like the scent of this stuff. BOY, was I wrong! The scent is fresh and floral, but with warm, earthy undertones. It’s both grounding AND invigorating. It’s a great mood balancing tool, natural perfume, and, surprisingly enough, spray on deodorant. Definitely gets two thumbs up from me!

Madagascar Mint Lip Balm:

As you know, I’m a lip balm fiend. The formula is quite smooth with no caking, which is great. What’s cool about this lip balm is that instead of the typical peppermint, it’s flavored with spearmint, which, in my opinion, has a lot more depth of flavor. The only downside is that there is a slight aftertaste from the jojoba oil, but nothing completely unpleasant. Overall, a nice tasting lip balm with great durability.

Apricot Argan Oil:

Smells absolutely amazing! A sweet citrus-y scent. I’ve used this on the ends of my hair and on my nails, and in just two weeks I’ve noticed a difference.

One big thank you to Jill for getting all of this set up!
